2008 Life Group Vision – John 15:1-8


Producing Fruit for the Glory of God!

We know from John 15:1-8 that we are pruned by God to produce good fruit:

Individually – Adding grapes to the branch

Galatians 5:22-23

Corporately – Adding branches to the vine

Matthew 28:18-20


How do we practically go about producing fruit?

A balanced focus Upward – Inward – Outward – Forward

Upward: connected to the Branch through prayer and worship.
Inward: safe welcoming fellowship and authentic community.
Outward: relational evangelism; growing the group.
Forward: discipleship and multiplication

1) Prayer!
2) Outward relational evangelism focus
3) Apprentice and host discipleship
4) Set a group goal for multiplication
